Arteta Confident Arsenal Will Win More Trophies

Arsenal and Arsene Wenger accomplished a milestone during the previous season as they secured the FA Cup which ended their drought of trophies which saw them not being able on lifting any major pieces of silverware in over 7 years. Even though Arsenal failed on securing the Premier League title, it still was a fairly impressive season for Wenger as they were at the top of the English League for a substantially long period of time and one of the reasons why the team of Wenger dropped places was simply because of the astonishingly high amount of injured players.

Mikel Arteta is confident that Arsenal will continue clinching trophies in the next season as the team wants to continue riding the momentum of the FA Cup success and the arrival Alexis Sanchez will only increase their options according to the Spanish midfielder.

Arteta told the media: “What we achieved last year is just a platform. The club has done business early to get ready from the start. “I’m delighted; he’s the sort of player we are looking for. I think he’ll bring so many good things to the club and the squad. He’s got experience and I think he’s a very gifted player. He’s very strong in a one-on-one situation and that’s what we need up front – someone to make the difference. He’s that kind of player. I want him to be ready because lots of other teams are fighting and bringing in good players, but if we can maintain our structure, we’ll have a good chance of winning the title.”

The future of Arteta is currently lying at the Emirates Stadium as he is a player of Arsenal but he is being chased around by clubs in Europe including: Athletic Bilbao and Fiorentina.
